Biography
Fatima completed her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Toronto in 2019. She graduated with a major in Psychology and a double minor in Psychology and Mental Health and Environmental Ethics. She has been working with the Khalil Center’s Toronto team since 2021, and is currently the lead administrator in Toronto.
She is a fervent advocate for mental health counseling, especially within the Muslim community. She believes that mental health therapy rooted in Islamic psychology truly has the potential to facilitate both an individual’s mental and personal wellness as well as strengthen their spiritual relationship with Allah (SWT) and increase their tawakkul.
As an administrator at KC, she is responsible for a smooth intake process and supporting the clinical staff. She will answer questions related to scheduling, billing, confidentiality health records, financial assistance and any other administration related inquiries.
Outside of her professional work, she has been an avid volunteer since 2015 with a non-profit organization which actively works to provide education and resources to orphaned children and underprivileged communities in Pakistan.
